Small but powerful: Sunfire-Remote 400 Gen. 2 now available

Dresden, Germany, 22nd December 2020

As it is particularly easy to integrate, the Sunfire-Remote 400 is an established off-grid power supply for stationary or semi-mobile applications. Whereas the first generation durably provided energy for customers like the Deutsche Bahn AG, its successor is even more promising. The compact off-grid power generator Sunfire-Remote 400 is now available in its 2nd generation – with some significant improvements! It offers an extended ambient temperature range from -20 to 55 °C, integrated desulphuriser for more than 10,000 hours of unattended operation and integrated IP interface for remote monitoring and control.

The Sunfire-Remote 400 power generator stands for an average electrical output of up to 350 watts. These devices based on solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) have an electrical efficiency of up to 32 %, almost twice those of generators using petrol or diesel engines in this power class. Customers appreciate the long maintenance intervals, for the Sunfire-Remote reliably supplies power for months. Additionally, the systems do not emit any pollutants, just small amounts of carbon dioxide, and are very quiet while operating.
